So it maintenance and I was clearing out an graveyard room and found these speakers, they work fine and sound O.K-ish would use them here but might be good for a small home studio.

Problem is,I cant find and useful info online about them, so was wondering if anyone could give me a lowdown?

Surprising how little info is out there for such an apparently commonly-referenced model. That said, the same is true of my own Tannoy Mercury M20's, so that on its own is no indicator.

Google actually has turned up some surprising info surrounding this make/model. Some online posters out there seem to think they're "White Van" speakers. They seem to be appearing worldwide, yet nobody ever seems to have heard of the brand?

I'd therefore suggest they were probably kept in the graveyard room for a reason...

Given that you're thinking about studio use, I think I'd keep them around as "grot-boxes" to represent a common-enough "midfi" setup representing some of what most music fans might have in their front rooms, but still pick something of a much more known-quantity (even something like NS10's with their known flaws) for actual mixing/monitoring duties.

Outside the studio - If you like their sound enough to use them for a while, then great. If not, then don't expect or push for a high Ebay value.
