NickAmatt Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Hi Folks, I've just got a Jester TLXtra for the college I'm working at. I was wondering if anyone knows any way I can control this desk with an iPad,The desk has midi capabilities so I was wondering if there is a way to send basic control data through a pc with a network connection via midi to the desk.I only really want the GO button and maybe a few submaster on and off features. I hope someone can help. Thanks guys :)
Stuart91 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 One possibility might be to use one of the Behringer midi control banks, and then something like this to send the midi signal over the network?
Ken Coker Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 (I may have got the wrong end of the stick...on reflection, you essentially want to use the iPad as a remote? This may help any way.KC)This works with my Titan Mobile. KChttp://www.ikmultime...ducts/irigmidi/ With - http://s1products.info/ - one can build an interface like the one below. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f184/kclx1/KC_PICS/S1_MIDI_zps09c86063.png In fact, MIDI S1 will work over a network - http://s1products.info/S1MidiWifiServer.html KC
dekw1 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I control Freestyler very successfully from my Ipad with TOUCH OSCthe app costs £4 and if you google TOUCH OSC you can download the software needed free from the web siteYou can make up a control panel on your Ipad, with sliders and buttons in whatever layout you desire..Give it a look..its the future..
