Martin Mini Mac

Hi all at BR.

I am having a problem with one of our Martin Mini Mac. When I turn it on the unit will reset properly and I can change the DMX channel to what ever I want, but if I switch it off and leave it for a while and switch it back on it will revert back to the setting it had at the first switch on. This is not a problwm when the unit is on the floor but when it is in the rigging getting the ladder out every day to change it will be a bit of a chore.

Any ideas would be helpfull.

Maybe the battery on the PCB is flat and needs replacing....... Just a guess unfortunatly

Didn't know that these fixtures had a battery on the PCB.

I can't find it on the board.

Don't think they do, it's an Eeprom. These can fail, but dodgy power supply (low voltage or slow to start up) can also cause this problem.

I've just looked at an old board here in the workshop and you're right - They dont have batteries on them.
