New StagePAS 600i

Quite amused. A friend sent me a link to Yamaha's

for the new StagePAS system. Quite nice - love the new locking clamps on the stands, and the fact that the smallest system does now have pole sockets. But tickled by the suggestion that if you need a bit more bass and a pair of monitors, you could add a DXS12 sub and a pair of DXR10 as wedges.

 

Surely if you had a pair of DXR10 you would use those as mains and the StagePAS speakers as the wedges? And isn't there something just a little odd about using nearly 2 grand worth of kit as accessories for 500 quids worth? Still - a handy setup for smaller venues; I've always liked the StagePAS range.
