Afternoon all.

 

Has anyone heard anything of stagelamps.co.uk recently? I placed a large gel order with them last week and have heard nothing back from them since my order confirmation. It should have been next day delivery.

 

I've emailed and phoned but no answer. Just wondered if anyone new of any problems or if they are still even trading?

As their website says "stagelamps.co.uk is managed by a team of theatre technicians who use our products themselves and understand the pressures and nature of the entertainment industry" - perhaps they're simply stuck on a show somewhere and can't get to the internet? Perhaps even *Insert one of a plethora of conspiracy theory style reasons*... :P

 

I'm surprised that internet prices aside, being based in London, that you're not using the likes of Gradav, Whitelight or Stage LX - at least they're a quick taxi away to go and collect stuff if need be. :)

Yes stagelamps.co.uk is ultimately (partially) mine and we're a small company but that's no excuse for eMails to go unanswered so I'll look into this first thing !

 

I've got your PM and replied, and I'll chase up what's happening with that first thing in the morning - obviously we'll credit your delivery cost at the very least, and sort something out in terms of credit if you order from us again ( I know first impressions haven't been great in this case )
