sessiondrummer Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 an incredibly quick google search brings up Hoist UK..... WOW REALLY http://www.blue-room.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif, and when quoting for servicing I get as many quotes as possible. The reason I asked is NOT because I don't poses the skills to use google. Its to get suggestions for places I haven't already had quotes for. personal recommendations or if someone wanted to come to our premises and service them to make themselves some cash, and get there foot in the door for some work when they are quiet. so thanks for your quick witted comment.
James Remo Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 We use rigging services who are based at three mills studios in east London, they come to us to do the inspecting and servicing. They also have a base in Birmingham. http://www.riggingservices.co.uk/
tokm Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Where abouts are you based? I'd highly recommend Roadrunner Rigging in High Wycombe - assuming they're viable. Posting off my phone so not easy to do a link, but Google should reveal all. HTH,Tom
trussmonkey Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Drummer, you didnt say that you had done a search and were looking for recommendations... ;) maybe a little more information in your original post will help give you a more tailored response. How do we know where you have or haven't got a quote from if you dont give us the information. TBH your original post comes across as you being a little lazy and not doing your own research. FYI not all companies will be able to service every type of hoist. They have to under go the required training and certification by the manufacturer. Hoists are fundamentally the same but they have enough differences to make them all unique. Your best bet is to stick with manufacturer authorized service centers. That way you know you are getting the manufacturer approved servicing. best TM
