Cameroon Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Morning blue-room, Just a quick question... we've got two brightsign units on a temporary install, one is working brilliantly... the other not so well? It works some days then others not. I was wondering if anyone has come across the problem. It just displays 3 flashes on the red error code and then just shows there start up logo, from the manuals its saying thats network recovery mode? However this cannot be true because these units are not networkable. Regards Cam,,
AHYoung Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 swap over the psus, upgrade the firmware and re-author the content to a new class 10 card. if its still iffy send the unit back for a repair... ive got a load of units in use and sold a load more and never actually had a fault that wasn't a dodgy card or under powered 5v psu. as far as im aware the various models in the same range are basically the same main board, with different amounts of features, so if its a hardware fault it may well be in an unused networking circuit.
