bddonoghue Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Hi all. I wonder if anyone can help me - I'm trying to create new Strand Pirouette symbols for VW but can't find any online available as a download or indeed any technical drawings. Even a user manual seems impossible to find. Does anyone have any of the above or know where I might find something online (nothing on Selecon, strand archive, model box, etc) Thanks, Ben.
jonathanhill Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 It might be worth giving White Light a call, maybe someone in Moving Light hire or maybe Tech Services. They used to have a few Pirouettes, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I know that nothing has really replaced the Pirouette, but can you really not substitute for something from this century to make yours and your production electricians lives a little easier?
agermich Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 The RSC still use pirouettes and their Lighting department use vectorworks so I'm sure that they will have symbols for them.
bddonoghue Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 Great thanks I'll give them a whirl. The RSC still use pirouettes and their Lighting department use vectorworks so I'm sure that they will have symbols for them.
gareth Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Failing that, just use a basic Strand Alto PC symbol and add a little box over the top of it to signify the motor yoke? I seem to recall that's what I did years ago when I needed a Pirouette symbol in TurboCAD.
