UVAUDIO
HIya guys, Hope all is well. I have trying to find some sort of an answer to this question however found nothing after searching! So thought I would post here. Discussion points - cross over points, power, bass bins OK - If running a system comprising of:Martin Audio W8C, WSX & WS218X Could you in theory dedicate the WS218X to the ' sub ' bass? I.e 70hz below. keep the wsx at a higher (but low) frequency range and of course W8C to look after mids and his.I wouldve thought there would need to be a large amount of power required to push the lower frequencies..However, running a horn bass bin against a WS218x - would this put the sound out of phase at all? Just questions I have been wondering about today!

TonyMitchell
However, running a horn bass bin against a WS218x - would this put the sound out of phase at all? Reflex (front loaded) boxes need to be delayed to the horn. Shorter horns need to be delayed to the longest horn. SP has already been mentioned, the topic has been covered extensively over there, many times.
