SceneMaster Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 What are people’s views on the zero88 Alcora desk… I want to use a small theatre stack type desk with push to go button which is what this desk has I believe… this is for my GCSE Final Technical Exam. I can use a manual or memory desk… I would prefer to use memory as there is less to go wrong when trying to preset the desk, run sound, read script and run the desk… it doesn’t get me anymore or less marks using a memory desk… Any desk I get needs to be low budget hire and I am only running about 24 or maybe more channels but then I just hire in a the 24/48 version. This seems a good option. Any input is greatly appreciated…
audio Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 I have used one for a show last month, but didn't really get much time to play with it. It will definately do what you want, operate playback using a 'go' button, and I had no probems with it, nice little desk for a low hire fee. John
gareth Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 People's views on the Alcora can be found here, here, here, here, here, here, and quite probably in several other places on the forum. Or at least, they would have been found in those places if you'd bothered to use the search function .....
