DonkiDonki Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I use both the android & ipad versions of the magicq remote and find them very useful. There is a password field in the app but I cannot find where to set this password in magicq setup, anyone know if it is implemented?
Wol Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Er, I think it's interlaced with the Setup > View Settings > Network > WiFi Password field.
harrison110 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Er, I think it's interlaced with the Setup > View Settings > Network > WiFi Password field. ^ What he said ^ Setup > View Settings > Network > Wireless Key Default pass is MQWirelessKey
DonkiDonki Posted December 8, 2012 Author Posted December 8, 2012 it must only work on the consoles; I am setting the password there and have tried enabling/disabling the wifi option but it has no effect on either the android or ipad app. errrr, did I mention that I am using magicq pc with a combination of pc-wing and bc4?
Wol Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 You also need to set the "Wireless encryption" mode to "MQ" to enable that. It's primarily designed to work with the WiFi interface connected directly into the consoles, so it can either be set to open wifi, WEP, or using the MQ password.
