Prodman22 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Hi... Does any one know how I can temporarily loose certain channels from appearing in sequences whilst in a live performance. If for instance a colour scroller stops working on a par can and it is coming up in the first colour ie green in every cue , I need some way of killing it until I can fix the issue. Am I right in thinking that the park feature is the way to go or not ?

Tomo Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Alternatively you could Capture it:[Capture] & [CH/ID][Release] to release it once fixed - [Release][Release] will release all Captured channels. The major differences:Capture lets you release it with a fade, Park will snap when unparked.Parked channels are saved in the show file, Captured aren't.I'd Capture it if there's a chance of it being fixed soon - eg knocked out of place and somebody can nudge it back in a blackout - and Park if it's going to have to wait until the interval or end of the show.
Just Some Bloke Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Or you could set one of your independents as an inhibit and inhibit the dodgy channel(s) when suitable but still be able to let it through if you actually do want it in green. Press and hold "setup" and turn the dial of the independent you want it on. Then set the independent to "inhibit" and set the relevant channel to full. Hit modify and you're away. You can have the channel at any level you want at any time.
