The course is designed for arts graduatesbut there are no formal entry requirements. The first week focuses on paint effects and finishes, and the second week on backdrop painting. It costs £675 plus VAT. The next course will run in the new year and will start on the 14th January. The course is based in Carshalton, Surrey, about half an hour by train from London Victoria. The course has acted as a spring board for a number of arts graduates who now earn a living as scenic painters.
