smalljoshua
What are the situations? Is pretty hard to recommend items for an unknown use. Josh
Ynot
Bear in mind you're talking to a theatre forum. VERY few, I would expect, are likely to have much direct experience with these lower-end fixtures in a theatre environment, and I would doubt many would recommend any of them for any half-serious stage work. If you're looking at club/disco use then it might be more pertinent to enquire in a more suitable group of like-minded people.
mac.calder
I would not call a Volks|lich a wash personally - they are more like a moving NSP Parcan than a traditional "wash" fixture
Ashley R
On Paper from those fixtures: Chauvet for the Spot. and Showtec for the Wash. As Mac has pointed out, on the GLP the beam angle is fixed at 11degree's whereas on the Showtec unit's its 10-40degrees The Chauvet fixture appears to be significantly brighter, with a much larger LED engine in it, than in the Showtec one. (75w Vs 30w) So its not exactly a fair comparison is it?
