DMX LED Strip Lights

Hello,

 

I am looking for some sort of cheap RGB led strip lights what can be controlled by DMX. They need to be pretty short (around 1m) because they are going on some treads. I had a look online but couldn't find anything on a tight budget.

LED tape and a driver? Is this to make the treads look pretty, or to aid in using them in the dark, or something else entirely?

Try looking for LED tape, it's available in RGB, then with a DMX power supply can be controlled via DMX. It comes in 5m rolls and you cut it every 5cm.

As a tryout you can get an all-in-one kit with a (non-DMX) controller, 5m of tape and a PSU example, I have a kit like this as undercounter lights in the kitchen.

I have succesfuly made the adressable strips that go for like $20/m work on Artnet, and could possibly make it go fine on DMX too.
