This two day course is an effective blend of both practical activities on a truss in our arena, and classroom based study. A variety of topics are covered including regulations, guidance, standards, working at height, lifting, truss theory, bridles, loads, knots, and rescue planning. Many people ask us if this course counts towards the National Rigging Certificate. This course will equip you with some of the skills and knowledge required to pass the NRC, and will advance your learning process, but it is not officially linked with the NRC. However, our tutor Eric Porter is an assessor on the examination board of the NRC and is probably the most qualified tutor to help you through the training process.
