miguelvicente
Hi guys Any idea how to patch a non-dim channel in magicQ? Many thanks Miguel
imesh.l
Are you trying to patch a LED fixture? Try patching a generic LED Patch -> Select Head -> Generic
simonp
I think the OP might be meaning something to control switched hot power. A lot of theatre installations have DMX-controlled switched hot power referred to as a 'non-dim', in which case I'd just patch a dimmer and usually anything 50% and above will turn the circuit on. david.elsbury
Failing that are you able to edit the curve on the channel in question?
paulears
You can set dimmer curve to square, which is the same as the generic switch fixture has programmed in it. I've not tried it connected to lights - and the display shows the usual variable level, but worth a quick try if you're on a system with lights!
