lxdave
Hi, I am going to be using T84 and T64 profiles, and I wondered if someone can tell me the rating, manufactuer and gobo size. Also, does anyone know the gobo size for Minuettes? Thanks in advance
Bryson
They were made by Strand. Info is here: T64, T84 Minuettes take"M" Size Gobos in a GH33 holder. This information was brought to you by 25 seconds on Google. PS: Many thanks to Jon Primrose and the Strand Archive.
Stu
I am going to be using T84 and T64 profiles ... gobo sizeIf you really and I mean really have to use Teapots for gobos, I would suggest making up some donuts to help improve the gobo projection slightly. Get some blackwrap and cut out a 165x165mm square (rounding up slightly) and then cut a hole in the middle the same size as the hole in the gobo holder. Then shove in the colour runners and see if it helps. (The reason why I say cut the blackwrap slightly larger than required is so if you've got no colour frames it'll sit reasonably nicely in the 'intergral' colour runners on the Teaspots.) PDD
Get some blackwrap and cut out a 165x165mm square (rounding up slightly) and then cut a hole in the middle the same size as the hole in the gobo holder. Off-topic, but does that rule apply to any profile to cut the hole in the donut the same size as the gobo? I often make donuts with blackwrap for our Sil's, but just cut the hole randomly for the most part until it got rid of enough flare. P.
