Hey guys, wondering if you guys could help me . Yesterday I bought a celco ventura 1000 got it for a really cheap price Now I know Why . I can not find the Lamp creator software any where on the net. The web site that once contained it is gone . Does anyone have the celco ventura lamp creator software or know where I can get it ? My next question, can I use one of the preloaded lamp profiles to run my fixtures as long as it has the same number of channels ? I'm really lost here and upset considering I bought this damn thing and can't make any new profiles without the software . Is there any way to get this damn thing to talk to my fixtures or am I screwed thanks fellas !!!!

Yes but only if the attributes are in the same place. ie PAN in the library fixture has the same DMX address as PAN on your fixture.

I don't know the desk well, so this may be of no use, but can you Export and open the LAMP.DAT file in a text editor? You never know what format it takes and it *may* be possible to work out a way you can duplicate and edit one without using the software. Just a thought.

I dont know if you're still looking for this one, but yesterday I've uploaded the lamp creator tool and the manual for this tool.

You can download it on our website: Click

Manually editing the .DAT files from the desk is really hard, because it's a binary format. Of course you can, but you will need a hex editor.

Kind regards,

Stijn
