BasMolenaar
Hi all, Does anybody know how to connect Wysiwyg with Vector PC, Ive don all the things compulite tells me, but it won't work. My main problem is that I cant configure an IP adres at the Vector PC (127.0.0.1). Does anybody knows the solution ?? Thx in advance Bas
Joe Bleasdale
Try sending Art-Net instead of VCs. You say Vector PC... If its on a laptop or home computer you should be able to change IP addresses freely, if your on a console be VERY careful about which IP you change! Just to be clear, are you trying to connect 2 PCs together or trying to connect them both on the same PC? Thanks.

Hi Joe, I can try art net thx.Vector PC is on a homePC, and Wysiwyg is on the same homePC. And about the ip adress, its 127.0.0.1 and that is a loopback IP so win7 says it's not usable. And the ip adress of the console I won't change that ( I know that :-) ) Thx Bas
Joe Bleasdale
Ah if your on the same computer, you will need the loop back adapter I think. Have you got the Compulite visualiser driver installed? Run both Vector PC and WYG as administrator. It's probably easier to run them in separate PCs if I'm honest! Thanks.

Hi joe, Thx, installed the loopback adapter, restart my pc, started vector pc as admin, but nothing still no ip address. My RT interface says also IP= (NULL) so I'm a bit tired of trying. Later this week im gonna contact my Compulite dealer an see iv they have the solution. Im gonna try with an external laptop, hope that will work. Thx for your help. Bas ( Why cant it be as simple as GrandMA2 + GrandMA 3D ?? )
Joe Bleasdale
Grand MA 2 and 3D are made by the same people so it's bound to be simpler... Connecting the two together one separate PCs should be a peice of cake! Make sure you un-install the loop back adapter first though. Thanks.
