roopdaloop
Hi GuysJust having an issue with an ARRI Max mover running an 18k Arri max..x2 rigged in a "pod" off a large craneThe "0" (stop) value on one head is actually around 38% and a far more sensitive spot on the fader than the usual %50 "0" on the other oneI am running this on a 6 way comet theatrelight desk through an opto iso up a crane (50mtrs...)Because I have two of them and one is working totally fine soI have ruled out the main DMX run as an issuewhen I pull the DMX all together the troublesome lamp just pans and tilts down, then doesnt respond until a power cycleHas anyone ever had something like this happen to them?I am dealing with it currently by just pulling the 32amp power supply to "freeze" the motorsWhen I have a chance I will try swapping DMX-analog converter box and DMX link to see if its that..Any ideas welcome!CheersReuben
david.elsbury
Hi ReubenProbably a little outside the scope of this forum, we normally deal with theatrical stuff rather than film. A bit of a long shot but you might have some luck giving Xytech in Auckland a call and seeing if they can offer any advice, I know they have a lot of film stuff...?http://www.xytech.co.nz CheersDavid
niclights
It does sound like there's something wrong with the converter box. Swapping is the obvious thing to try.
