dogcop
Good Morning Blue Room At our church we project using a Sanyo Pro Xtra X PLC XT25. Yesterday all was working fine and then suddenly BSOD !!!!! I know signal is reaching projector via TV one 8 channel switcher as I had to remove VGA cable from the Sanyo projector and plug into spare already rigged for "eventualities"!!!! This worked fine. Here what I have tried1/ Clean filter2/ check lamp life and warnings (702 hours - no warnings)3/ Switch inputs on projector via remote control4/ restore factory settings - still no change5/ turn off and on again - hmmm still no joy Now officially confused - any ideas please Further to the above I have also checked the test screen and that projects fine

pjrails
HiI know you have said you turned it off and back on. Did you disconnect the mains completely? If not, do so and leave for a short time and then reconnect it, it sometimes helps to reset everything. HTHPJ

AHYoung
If the vga works with another unit, and the projctor works fine on the video in, its down to the input, id say it 1in 100 likely that the projectors got a problem with the input board and as the xt25s still a decent unit worth repairing , my recomendation would be multicare in leeds, however its much more likely simple user error, as when you press input 1 say it cycles through pc analogue, scart , pc digital , pc digital hdcp, only the first setting working , and only then after 5 o r 10 seconds. Its remarkably easy to miss the right mode, press the button twice and even though it says the right input, it doesnt work. This is fairly common... if its definitely on pc analogue and the cable is fine, id check that the rgbhv input works, all you need is a vga - 5bnc fanout as vga and rgbhv are effectively identical. Even if input 1 has a fault Input 2 may work...
