O2 lighting rigs

Anyone know the lighting rig specs for Leicester and Oxford 02's, including desk.

About two years old now. I've only had a quick nosey around during the daytime so I've not seen any of the control kit. Phone / email details aren't hard to find if you want info from the horse's mouth.

Oxford has two venues. O2 academy and of course the academy 2(used to be the Zodiac).

 

I worked there on and off for 12 years as the/a venue lampy doing lights for all the bands that didn't bring their own Ld.

 

O2 academy has a back truss with 18 500w pars, 6 robe 250 spots, 4 robe led washes(136's I think) , and 2 martin atomics.

Front truss has, four source four juniors, six pars, 2 four light moles, and a couple of robe rgb wash/blinders(crap as blinders, but good for stage washes)

 

Academy 2 has a back truss/ goal posty thing with 9 really cheap and weak led pars, 4 robe 250 spots and 2 atomics.

Front lighting is 4 par 56's and 4 led pars.

 

There's hazers in both rooms and control in both rooms is on a pearl.

Alright Craig. Equipment is the same, but they've moved everything around a bit. Call/E-mail the venue, they have a full PDF venue spec they can send you.

Main room now has 10 250s, 4 of which are on the floor and upstairs just has 4 robe 170's.

 

Leicester main room from what I remember is 2 trusses over stage, one front truss, and a circular dance floor truss. Bunch of Robe spots, 301 washes, atomics and bars o six. Desk was a Pearl Expert with touch wing.

As always, if you want an up-to-date spec, the best and 100% most accurate idea is to ring the venue. Relying on second or third hand information off the internet might work in some cases, but I don't know that this is it.

 

Of course, if you're not advancing a show, and merely trainspotting gear, then it's quite a different story.
