GizMunra
Hi All, Has anyone of you used stagescan 1200s outdoors? I've seen the clay paky cover for the v.I.p... anyone ever used one on a stagescan? Someone told me recently that they used stagescans outside years ago, and they had no adverse affects from the weather, it seemed that the heat evaporated the rain........hmmm.... I'm not intending to let my stagescans fill up with water... And I'm not totally daft. It's just that tinkering with sheets of ali isn't my thing...... next idea is to try with fibre glass. ...Anyone got any sensible suggestions of how to rain cover a stagescan?? Ashley R
To make a cover out of Ali would be simple. This sheet aluminum, cut into squares, then riveted together using bits of aluminum angle, with libourous amounts of silicon applied between the sheets and the angle to ensure its water tight.Making a box that covers the top of the light. Or get the local metal works to make them up if you can't be bothered?
