PAL Label cleaning

Recommended Posts

Our school (among others) bought in huge quantities of ANTI-BACTERIAL alcohol based hand gel when the swine flu VIRUS scare came around. This was absolutely no use when it came to preventing swine flu. When this story came out it was taken out of service. We now have a lake, nay, an ocean of sharpie removing gel. If I'm using it a lot I put gloves on or it dries my skin out. I like the mutton cloth, it's cheap and better than paper for cleaning.

Off topic but close enough,

Any tips removing a companies screen print from second hand flight cases? Nail polish remover doesn't seem to be doing the trick. (Well it is, but verry slowly)

Any old wives tales considered!

You could try MEK - Methyl Ethyl Ketone, which is a solvent for most paints used in printing - but test a small area first as it also likes eating some plastics. MEK is available in model shops, or most dispensing chemists can order it in for you.
