Awards show lighting help!

How can I emulate the 'environments' you'd have on an avolits azure desk on a pearl tiger? For instance if I have three 'looks' I want to cycle through for an awards show; one for talking, one for nominations and one for winners. On the azure I could save each 'look' into an environment (made up of several playbacks all set to specific levels). I can't seem to see anything similar on the Tiger. I've found the theatre stack programming but can't seem to get it to save dimmer values as set by the preset faders... Any ideas?!!

On titan I would do an enviroment per handle.

Use a chase rather then a cuestack and program your talking, nomination, winners.

Then you can use your other handles/palletes etc to have additional items or adjustments you might want to make.

Just how I would do it :)

In case it would be useful to you in the future, the Theatre Stack problem with dimmer channels is probably to do with internal jumpers being set wrong. By default the desk expects an extra fader wing to be present, and treats the theatre stack masters as being on this wing, which doesn't exist in your case (I'm assuming), thereby setting all those masters at zero. The dimmers are being recorded into the theatre stack but not being played back. Pages 212 and 213 of the manual tell you how to fix this.

Thanks guys - I'll look into the jumper serttings thing. After posting this I found that 'snapshots' function, and also the 'record stage' button which basically lets me record the entire output of the desk to one playback fader. I thought that'd be exactly what I'd need, excpet that when I ran each 'snapshot' it didn't seem to save any of the shape movement info stored in each playback, so all the dimmers/fixtures took their correct pre-recorded values (dimmer levels, colours, gobos etc) but no shapes were played back.....

Any further ideas? Thanks for your help so far! :-)

Record Stage doesn't include shapes in Classic unfortunately.

Try using include to grab values from cues, either instead of record stage or in combination with. For example you could use record stage to grab all the intensity levels as you want and then include the playback with the shape and merge it into your new cue.
