gunner
This is probably an easy thing to do, but I am normaly a lighting person. I am due to be running a show next week on an LS9 for the first time. I have had a quick look at the desk and have found that all my qlab inputs are on layer two (ch 33 - 64). I need to run this at the same time as half a dozen radio mics. Is there any way I can patch the qlab channels up onto layer one so I have easy access to everything or do I need to patch everything onto the custom layer. Many thanks for any help/advice you can give.

X" box in the top left corner of the screen, and you get a pop up box that allows you to choose a different input for that channel. Ian Edited to add- you can also 'move' channels by means of the channel job button to the left of the screen. See the manual for details!
David Lee
would a custom fader layer be easier?
Shez
I would probably do it on the custom fader layer - takes only a few seconds to set up.From memory: press setup until you see administrator & user options, select custom fader layer for whichever user you are. Then just press the sel button on whichever channel (check which layer you're on) you want on custom fader 1, then for fader 2 etc. Change layers as & when you need to select channels on different layers. The on screen instructions walk you through it too.
