Kippy6364
I have 2 Barco FLM's receiving 1920x1080 from a single 100 metre fibre cable on a 12metre wide screen. We are using standard 1.2.1 lenses and the focus is not correct.Somebody has told me that we need to have HD lenses to get a pinpoint focus. Is this correct, any ideas? Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond. Kippy
jason5d
First, I would check to see if the 1.2:1 lens you have will actually focus a 12m wide image.

Shez
It's a logged-in user's page. You need to be logged in to the site to access it.
Pete McCrea
If you head to the Barco website, then there is a lens calculator that will enable you to check this out. It might also be worth using the 9 point focus pattern to double check that the problem is equal across the whole image. If the lens will do the throw and width, then it could be an issue with the lens mounts, or that the processing in the signal chain is causing an issue. The my.barco site is a login site. We've got log ins due to having kit. Not sure if it's a straight application process though.
