Hi all, I am in need of some advice. Has anyone used the Antari Z series low smoke machine, as I have recently purchased one second hand for a charity party I'm planning and I was wondering which fluid I should use for the best results. I need the smoke to stay low and dissapear as soon as it begins to rise.

The easy answer is the fluid that the manufacturer recommends - did it come with a manual, or can you find a copy online?

It's an oft-repeated subject here - many of us subscribe to the opinion that smoke/haze machines should use the proscribed fluids, as many machines have different operating temperatures and can often not work properly with those from others.

There are 2-3 different types of Antari fluid all of which react differently but I don't want the smoke to rise and fill the room. Wondered if anyone had used one and liked the results. Searched everywhere on the net and can't seem to find an answer. Even Emailed Antari but got no reply.

Just to confirm, are you using the Antari Z Ice machine - the one that has two compartment units to take a large quantity of ice cubes?

If so, then the Gravity mix or DNG fluids are best for its use - the usual suspects should be able to sell you a 5 ltr bottle. Stage Electrics do it for around £20 plus VAT.
