jblandford
http://www.blue-room.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gifHi there, first post I think. Be gentle http://www.blue-room.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif We are running a small town festival in North Shropshire in June and our staging supplier can no longer meet the requirements Can anyone suggest a staging supplier in the area (midlands I guess) that offers something better than the proverbial 2 flat-beds but not a full blown posh festival stage budget wise? Many thanks in advance J

J Pearce
Impact Productions in Olney have some smaller outdoor stages that suit the smaller festival. They might be a bit far away for delivery to be competitive, but give them a ring, they are a helpful bunch. It's also worth getting in touch with The Stage Bus, based in brum. Yorkie
The truck stage may be suitable http://www.thestagebus.com/the-truck-stage edit: beaten to it. Pretty sure that the stage bus/ truck stage people are on here. What size stage are you looking for?
kerry davies
Yup, Yorkie, Tev or his production geezer is on here but so is Matt of DHE who has an ad for crew down below. Worked with both, both Kule, but what exactly are you looking for, JB? If it is just the staging then LMS are in your patch and there are umpteen options for you to consider.Do not forget the village hall circuit which provides oodles of staging up and down the Marches for reasonable donations and there are plenty just over the ditch (Dyke) in Powys. gareth
Prism Lighting, based in Malpas, are fairly close to you and they are heavily involved with provision of temporary outdoor staging. Here's their website.

rossmck
Live Systems in Edinburgh (not too local I know, but outdoor stage companies tend to travel) now have a nice Prolyte ArcRoof stage which is sort of a mini festival-style stage which might be of interest ? http://www.livesystems.co.uk/stage-hire.html
