LXbydesign
Hello people, Quick question. I was on a gig last week and my supplier was talking about a new light thats come out (apparently it was shown at PLASA) and its basically just a -or the same as- a sunstrip battern but has motorised TILT only on it. No colour changing etc. Anyone know what its called / who makes it.? Cheers Dom

Cheers Dom Sounds suspiciously like a smaller version of a DHA Digital Light Curtain (minus the scroller) which has been around for over 20 years. LXbydesign
Yes I know Kit! I was probably about 17 or 18 when DLC's were invented!!! No. This model is the same size / spec as a sunstrip battern - but just happens to have TILT motors as well.
J Pearce
I vaguely remember seeing something like that and thinking it was very DLC-esque, but I can't remember whose stand it was on. There's plenty of that description out there with led sources, if that interests you?
LXbydesign
Even better Jon! Can you do some product name dropping!!
J Pearce
Now you're asking... I saw them at PLASA focus and PLASA, but can't think of their name! It was one of the lesser heard of led companies. There was even one that had two battens that could tilt independently in a single casing. I remember thinking you could do some interesting cyc work with it. Either that or I'd had some spectacularly strong lemonade at lunch?

Tim Edwards
Jon was it by Coemar? You might have seen this http://www.coemar.com/prodotti_dettaglio.aspx?flag=eng&str_navigazione=&cerca=&id_categorie=98&page=1&id_prodotti=429 on the Whitelight stand at Plasa. J Pearce
I did see that, but it wasn't the one I was thinking of. I believe I've probably gone mad, and I'm blaming the sound of music.
