Yeah this is the best version of the torch that I have used, if you look at that chunky bit under the flame; that is a tube which when someone releases the triggers they are holding as they grip[ the handle the tube slides up over the flaming part and snuffs it. The flames are normally fuelled by either a wad soaked in flammable liquid, or safer (in my opinion) a coating of flamegel. Incidentally this also comes in citrine version so not only do the torches look good but they keep away mosquitos too, an absolute boon when I used them as we were doing an outdoor production of 'Hiawatha' in midsummer by some ponds.
