Lizfowler
Hi, I had a few problems with a fixture and I have concluded that it may possibly be due to their reversed polarity. The problems lies within an oooold 3pin DMX NJD Spectre (Groan!) I have trawled through the forums looking for topics to help me but can't seem to find much, so... Now I have identified the (possible) problem - Great! - how to I go about actually unreversing (?) the polarity. Is there a simple cable I need to get? Or something I need to do? Rewiring for example? Thanks
mutley
Simple: Swap pins 2 and 3. You can buy some "DMX phase reversal" adaptors, or you could just save yourself the hassle and swap the wires round on the actual unit.
