Mr Steve
Mackie SRM150 works well. Active, stand mount, multiple input should you need it.
Matt Riley
I like the DB Tech ones myself. The K70 is a well priced alternative to the SRM 150.
Biro
Possibly a little small but JBL Control 1s have a mic stand attachment, as do Yamaha MS101s.
Stuart91
Some friends of mine get very good results from Peavey Impulse 6 boxes. It used to be possible to get Evid 3.2 cabinets with an adaptor to fit on mic stands, but the adaptors were discontinued last time I looked. We used them very successfully in some small installs. Yorkie
We used to use the Yamaha MS101's in church as monitors; they were pretty grim - despite a built in amplifier they only have unbalanced inputs.
Sound Man
Have you looked at the Galaxy Audio Micro Spot units. You would need an amplifier as they are passive units. David

Yep! I've had exactly the same experience. The MS101s certainly didn't make the musicians happy.
Bobbsy
I've used JBL Control 1 speakers when forced into this but it's not a happy solution. Unless you can mount the speaker directly behind the mic (which, by definition, generally means blocking any view of a singer's face) the monitor is getting close to the mic and not in the best null position. Wash from the monitor feed has always been an issue for me when trying to work this way.
revbobuk
The Behringer B205D has (how shall we put it?) some similarities to the Mackie. There's also the Wharfedale WPM-1 which is quite small. Both of these are cheap boxes - though the Behringer (we use one) sounds OK.The Galaxy boxes are available active or passive, and can go very loud indeed! You might find a hypercardiod vocal mic a better match - the null is in a position that is a bit easier to match up to the speaker location than a cardioid. Yeah, that was my solution when I was forced to use stand-mounted monitors--though that created its own set of problems since the vocalists weren't used to mics being so directional. fatfrog
I've a couple of Genelec 8020A's which can be mic stand mounted. Very handy for a small active monitor! Hope this helps,Alan
