Crewing Companies in/around Salisbury

Hello.

 

We've probably got a little corporate event in the Salisbury area next week (load in 8th 17:00 is, out 9th 15:00 ish), and just wondering if there were any recommendations for a local crew company to Salisbury. It's really simple, but merits two guys for two hours kind of work. Would prefer to engage a crewing company locally rather than have the usual suspects travel into the area to save on mileage, or booking various individuals, though not dead set against using local people at a reasonable rate, just means a little more management time on my behalf...

 

My Google Foo is weak today and doesn't seem to be turning up any suggestions...

Hi Pete,

 

I don't believe there is a dedicated crewing company in Salisbury, the nearest I know of would probably be Dorset Crew down in Bournemouth. - They do most of the ins / outs for us at the BIC.

 

In Salisbury itself, it might be worth you trying to contact City Hall, Salisbury Playhouse, or Salisbury Arts Centre, as they will all have a pool of casual staff they might be able to recommend on to you? - Let me know if you want me to send you some contact details for some of them.

 

I would offer to do it myself, as I am only 20 mins up the road from Salisbury but at the moment I think my work commitments my clash with your load in timings!

as Neil said there isn't a crewing company in salisbury, but pm me if you need me to get you in touch with people.

 

I can problably do both shifts for you, but can only confirm this evening (childcare issues...)
