mjriley
Hey all,I've been asked to help with the technical side of a spelling bee type event at my school. They want a computer based system which shows the correct spelling of the word with a space to write / type in what the contestant says. This will be projected onto a screen behind them.Any idead about how to achieve this? PowerPoint, custom software, web based system etc.? Thanks Mike
JazzAV
A very easy way to do it would be just to keep Powerpoint in edit mode, remove as much of the tool bars and frames as possible, zoom the slide view up and you should pretty much have a full screen editable PowerPoint screen. If you are doing rear projection you can then just over shoot your image, or front projection you can maybe mask the lens a little to remove the final bits of menu. There probably is a simple bit of software out there..but theres a quick fix if you get no better ideas Word should also have a "View full screen" option that could work if you format it right
David Lee
Powerpoint in speaker mode. You can have the edit window in your local monitor and via extended desktop, have the slide projected on the projector. Any alterations on the edit window appear on the projected slide as you type.
