Ideal for intermediate and novice users. The day long courses will help to achieve a solid foundation in sound engineering for application in a contemporary church worship setting. 19th November 2011, 17th March and 23rd June 2012, Coventry (UK) Topics covered will include:Basic Physics of Sound Waves and the Ear Basic Electroacoustics and Signal FlowWired and Wireless MicrophonesAnalogue Mixing Consoles Amplifiers and Loudspeakers System and Channel EQGain StructureGood Soundcheck techniqueMixing for WorshipGood Recording techniques for Speech and Podcasting. You will also have a practical sound check with a live band, and the chance to get some hands-on mixing practice. 9am start, 1pm lunch, and 5pm finish.
