Scanner & headset mics

Hi

I am totally new to using microphones as part of my theatre shows but am now starting to sing in my acts. I need a headset mic with a flesh coloured microphone, as I will be talking, walking, dancing and singing during my acts. A friend loaned me a Scanner S3 receiver and body pack with a black headset. My questions are as follows:

How decent is Scanner as a brand- I cant seem to find much about it online, and how fit for my purpose?

How do you know if a microphone headset will fit your bodypack, I have looked at lots online but am not sure if they are compatible.

Any general advice? This is all very new to me.

Scanner is more of an Entry-Level brand, but it will probably be up for what you want to do with it.

I researched this for you.

I looked Here and it says that the input is a mini xlr4.

And Here is one of many compatible headsets.

:)
