DennisMooreJr
Looking for some help here. Have a road console Martin M1 to input into our system via SN110 nodes (old school not new N21 Strand Nodes) The node is setup to work like this on many occasions. We are getting a 15 to 20 second lag from the output of the martin to the reaction to our dimmers. I suspect it is the framerate option of the output from the Martin Ether2DMX8 device being used. Does anyone know of the framerate setting needed for the SN110 input. I know when using other road consoles, the fast/slow DMX output toggle corrects this problem. The ether2DMX8 offers this range so I have never experienced it prior to this. Any ideas?
rossmck
I know when using an SN110 with any of the modern ETC consoles you have to use "SLOW" DMX Have a look at http://www.etcconnect.com/community/wikis/products/DMX-speed.aspx - this explains what the different options are, maybe you can find a way to configure the Ether2DMX8 similarly. I think it's more than the framerate, I seem to remember seeing something about needing a few us delay after the last stop bit with the older strand stuff..
