peza2010
Hi all. A fairly urgent one here.I'm running chamsys with 4 channel led pars.(I'm running them as generic dimmers as they don't need to do anything special) I record a cue stack with them on red, for one cue, blue for another and green for another, with a very slow cross fade inbetweeners them. Pushing the submaster up does what I want it to do, it fades up the channel one, and the channel that controls red - happy days. Pulling the the submaster down however doesn't have the desired effect... It will stop the cue stack from running - I.e stopes the colour fade, but it holds onto dimmer and colour levels and won't release then...: How would I change this? Cheers, George Okay you can actually close this one up.I had been a numpty earlier this morning when creating personalities and ending up saving over GENERIC DIMMER. So generic dimmer was actually something random.
Wol
From what you've said there, it looks like you've got the fixture patched as LTP mode (http://www.blue-room.org.uk/wiki/LTP) , not HTP mode (http://www.blue-room.org.uk/wiki/HTP). We have more than enough LED personalities in MagicQ, so there is no reason that you'd need to patch a 4 channel LED thing as 4 separate dimmer channels/heads. Have a look through the Generic/LED3ch or Generic/LED4ch fixtures we have, as chances are one of those will match what you need.
collism
For future reference in case anyone googles this topic: is view settings -> prog -> unused chans return to defaults set to [yes]? Otherwise values will not release and can be another cause of this problem.
