J Pearce
We used a very basic fake camera. Wooden box painted black, brass handle on the top with a slide projector lens stuck out the front.
dbuckley
You can get those old cameras in auction houses for next to nothing. E2A: by auction houses I dont mean Sotherbys, or up market places, but the sort of auction houses that deal with house clearances of the deceased and general junk. cedd
Thought I remembered this post from somewhere. We're just in production week for Rent at the minute and have made up a full set of (very) heavy duty tables. I even commented when we were welding the legs today that somebody was looking for some on here, but I thought your show must already have been and gone. Clearly not. So, Brassneck Theatre Company (see my sig) have a set of tables built for this show. Tops are 24mm MDF, legs and frame are made of sprinkler pipe (40 or 50 mm tube - basically scaff kind of weight) with proper cast 90 degree fittings (tapped pipe ends, then welded to lock) at the corners. In short, they're very heavy but can most definately be danced on! There are 2 longer tables (2 - 3m) and 2 square (1m) tables. I guess there will be other stuff as well, but the tables struck me as being quite useful. We're in Leeds, and you'd need a van, but they're just what you need! Drop one of the set hire email addresses a message from their website (I'm just a lighting minion for this one!).C
cedd
Just to add, I took some photos today. They're only in grey undercoat, but you get the idea about the size and chunkiness of them. rent tables
