SBLD
Somehow I had this working earlier and now no matter what I do it won't now, so time to admit I may need a hint! Running Avolites Titan mobile on the same laptop as WYSIWYG R27. Earlier on today I had them connected, patched and had control of my rig - now nothing! I have set up the TM to output Artnet, am using Luminex Wygalizer, Wyg is connected to eth-DMX,universes are binded, the IP addresses match, but I have no control. What could I possibly be doing wrong? I have also tried running Artistic License's 'DMX workshop' which doesn't seem to be able to find any Art-net running in the system. I am confused. Any handy hints would be appreciated! Thanks.

SBLD
Thanks Trev. I know Emma quite well, just didn't want to bother anyone at Avolitesif someone else happened to know more than I do about Titan Mobileand wyg. Not hard I can assure you! EmmaThompson
If you're running any kind of visualiser on the same machine as the Titan Mobile (or other PC based lighting software I imagine), then you'll need to have a loop back adaptor installed on the PC so it can talk Artnet to itself. It's a windows thing rather than an Avo thing, so a quick google should bring up some instructions, if not, call Greg in software and I'm sure he'll be able to put his Windows knowledge to good use: 0208 965 8522 Hope this helps! Flyingwysiwyg
Hi, Are both ip addresses set to 127.0.0.1? That is the default loopback adpater ip address. Cheers, Simon
SBLD
My IP address in Titan, Luminex Wyalizer and loopback adaptor are all set to 2.0.0.1 Sub mask 255.255.255.0I have tried setting the loopback IP to 127.0.0.1, but windows tells me that I can't use this address as it is reserved for loopback adaptors? Strange. Also when my laptop is connected via ethernet cable to a particular desk top it all worksfine. Tried the same settings with another laptop and nothing. I am all out of ideas! I really need to get this loopback working.

This is why it will work when connected to a desk but not when dis-connected. Something like this for XP: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839013 or this for win 7: http://www.windowsreference.com/windows-7/how-to-install-a-loopback-adapter-in-windows-7/ HTHJohn
SBLD
Ok so eventually cast software got back to me and as it turns out no loopback apaptors are needed, and also R27 recognises art-net directly now, so no need for third party software such as wygalizer. The problem then becomes Titan not seeing any networks does not give you any options to connect and stream art-net.I managed to change the IP of my wireless network, connected titan to wyg, and then changed it back again and it seemsto be working fine, and my wireless internet runs parallel with no issues. Oh how I would love to go back to the days ofanalogue!
