coolboy153
Hello guys! I just need a little information about the ETC Express lighting board. Here we go ; Lets say I run the cue 10 on the A/B fader and then, while the cue 10 is on stage, I run the cue 100 on the C/D fader. When I will press "go" again on the A/B fader, will it jup to cue 101, and then 102, 103, etc.... or it will follow the "order" on the faders? So pressing again GO on the A/B fader will bring the cue 10, 11, 12.... and so on, and if I press the GO button on C/D fader it will bring the cue 101, 102, and so on? Cause what I would want to do is playing all my general cues on A/B fader and only my special cues or effects cues on C/D. Like all my special cues would be 100 and up... I don't know if you know what I mean, my english is not my first language and don't know how to explain it good ** laughs out loud **.. Thanks for all! Bryson
No, I'm afraid it doesn't work that way. You could force it, by manually typing in the cue number each time. That very much depends on how tight the cueing sequence is, though. Much better to run effects cues with blank cues & macros, though.
coolboy153
What do you mean by blank cue? I mean, what I would do is run my general cue 1 for song #1 on A/B fader and then being able to run a chase WHILE the cue 1 is on stage... And, for my questions, if the cue 10 is on AB and cue 100 on CD, if I press go again on AB it will continue to 101?
Bryson
Yes. That's exactly what will happen. You could avoid it by typing Cue 11 Go. Easier, though, to have a Cue 10.5 that doesn't change anything, but contains a Macro that runs Cue 100 on the CD fader and then gets cue 11 ready for AB. Does that make sense? coolboy153
Yes that could be good I think. And what about linking cues? Iike the cue 11 is linked to cue 100 so, after running cue 100 on CD, it will link to cue 11 when I'll press go on AB?
