redon
Hi all. I use an yamaha O1V96 mixing deck and until now I've had no problems, but few hours ago suddenly high tones went off, and now I got only dark non-quality mid going through speakers. I checked everything at EQ on O1V96 and everything seems to be ok. Any Ideas?
J Pearce
You've blown a tweeter in one of your speakers? You've got water in your ear? Bit more details might be handy...
redon
Well, I have O1V96 connected with fireface rme 800, one behringer mixer with fast track pro in analog channels. If it was a soundcard problem (either rme or fast track pro) than I would have known because I tested the soundcrds and they are ok. The problem seems to be at the O1V96, either there is a technical issue inside the mixer or there is something that I don't know that should be checked on the O1V96. Speakers are plugged in, soundcards are all connected as they should and I didnt touch anything technically, high tones went off suddenly.
themadhippy
you aint routed something like an fx back on its self?
redon
I dont see that fx are routed, because the sound is pale, very low quality, if it was for fx than it would have variable effect sound into it. Let's suppose there's smth routed that I dont know, where do I reset all the mixer to defaul, clean? Pressed and holded aux1 and home faders while turning on the power switch, now it is calibrating. I know user data is lost but its ok, lets hope it will refresh. All format and routed again with the word clock still the same sound. I guess its a technical issue with O1V96. damn. can this occur? smalljoshua
It is much more likely to be a speaker problem. Take the O1V96 out of the signal chain and just plug a soundcard output into the speaker. Josh

Josh Unbelievable Josh, cables of the speakers, both of them (totally unusual occurrences) were damaged, when I tested with new cables all is fine now. damn I'm so happy. Thanks to all for the feedback, cheers homeys.
