WYSIWYG Perform R25 Dongle for sale

Sadly old dongles no longer have any value as it is way cheaper to lease a dongle annually for at least 8 years before it becomes wortwhile to buy... anyone buying your dongle will have to pay 15 months membership just to get it to now plus another year to keep it current... its a real shame that the pricing leads to this...

No, you don't have to keep up your annual subscriptions for the dongle to still work - but Cast Software will do their utmost to make you feel like a complete sh!tebag for not giving them a few hundred pounds every year.

Any Offers?

Am I missing something about how the subscription works but it is Aug 2011now.

Cheers

The subscription lasts until the date it runs out, you can still use the software in any version up to what was available at that point. (In my case, R25). If you want to bring the membership upto date then you need to cover the period from the expiration to now.

This is a lot of money for Perform, hence I am considering selling it, if it's worth it.

To be honest, I don't have any idea what it is worth; so I am trying to see if there is any interest for a start.

After checking out the competition, I just can't bear to move from Wyg just yet. Some of the others have some great features (live visualization on LIGHTCONVERSE is flippin impressive - though Wyg is nipping at it's heels with the latest updates. Unfortunately I'm not at all impressed with LC's paperwork side)

So membership renewal time again; don't suppose anyone has one of those 3dconnexion controllers gathering dust they would like to get rid of? That looks like a nifty feature once you get the hang of it.
