Rescue from height training

heightec is a UK manufacturer or work at height and rescue equipment and provides specialist training for professionals in the work at height and rescue industry, via its national network of height safety centres.

 

The Tower Rescue course is designed to train people to recover a person suspended by their harness, who may suffer from injuries associated with falls from height. The course utilises the specialist rescue system

Tower Pack which has been designed to make the rescuer as safe as possible during what is one of the most dangerous tasks that anyone can undertake whilst working at height; the descent or snatch rescue of friends and colleagues. The Tower Pack can also be used for personal evacuation and for lowering an injured person when all other options have been exhausted.

 

This course is being run at heightec's London training centre in Staples Corner; however if the London centre is not convenient please ask for dates at our other centres - Aberdeen, Kendal and West Bromwich.

Code: TTS4U - Tower Rescue course

Pre-Entry Requirements: Proof of competency to work at height (this course is not for inexperienced riggers).

Cost: £165 + VAT - PSA members will receive a 10% discount voucher.

Assessment: Practical and written

Certification: heightec certificate and ID card

Validity: 3 years, although it is recommended that you undertake annual re-validation

Lunch is provided along with all the tea and coffee you cope with

Training manual supplied. The notes from which can be used to write your own rescue plan.

Availability: Limited to 8 places (booked on a first come first served basis).
