Does anybody know where I can find a copy of the driver, or can send it me as a .zip? all I have found online so far is driver updates, not an original driver. does anyone have a solution to this

Phill.Beynon
Just so that you know, if you didn't already, you also need some form of clock to give Sonar so that it can record the multitrack feeds properly. It isn't clear, (or certainly wasn't, we've asked Roland to change their website and manuals) from any documentation that you need to buy another box such as the Edirol FA-66 USB interface just to give Sonar a constant time feed, otherwise Roland won't guarantee that the recordings won't skip or drop out. Yeah, I might see how bad it is without the clock, otherwise I'll try and see if I can use the inbuilt optical connection on my PC, although I'm no sure how easy that will be. Bobbsy
I've not tried the gear you're talking about but, in my experience, clock problems are sneaky. Things can work happily for ages, lull you into a sense of security, then bite you. Usually during something irreplaceable. Bob
Phill.Beynon
Yes Bob, that's the impression I got from Roland too. I haven't tried it myself yet, but I get the feeling that without the time source it could work forever with no problems, perhaps. No guarantees. As you say, the time that you find out that it doesn't work is the time that you needed it to.

The REAC driver only works with SONAR Producer and is only available for purchase from Roland Systems Group Pro Audio dealers who sell the V-Mixing System and Digital Snake range of products. Many thanks,Simon KenningRoland Systems Group UK
