sleah
hi all I was wandering how do you know if your radio mics are channel 38 ready? They are AKG WMS 4000. Errr... it'll say on the box? Quick call to the dealers/manufactureres or an interweb search should answer that, if you don't have the instructions :)
revbobuk
I believe I'm right in saying that the WMS4000 is now obsolete, and doesn't do ch. 38 at all. You'll be able to use it in ch70, but there are a limited number of licence free frequencies there.
Bryson
Moderation: Give that this thread isn't really about OFCOM at all, I'm changing the thread title...
Joe Mitchell
I'm afraid AKG WMS4000 systems are not Ch 38 compatible and they do not cover Ch 70 the license free channels either. I've just traded some in and they only cover the low 830mhz - 862mhz frequency band and that all goes next year. :-( Sorry to bring bad news.
