willdoweuk
Sorry, I dont know of this is the correct place to post this, but if anyone in Ipswich has a strobe lamp they would be willing to lend for a couple of weeks I would be really grateful. paulears
If you're stuck, try Suffolk New College - I bet they'd have one.P
J Pearce
School science departments often have one for observing experiments with rotation. Set the strobe speed right and whole experiment stands still.
erroneousblack
If you do get hold of one, go to the HSE Website and search for "disco lights and flicker sensitivty". As you will have no end of people telling you nonsense about inducement of fits!

deranged-angel
If you can't get one and have a little bit of time, Maplin sell the kits that you solder up. They're really easy and connect to 13amp plug. You'd have to make a box with a reflector in it but if you're looking for cheap and cheerful then it's good.
