Brian
Almost certainly they are generic parts. What markings do they have on them?

audiomik
Hi all, I have a load of old PSL amps and need to track down some new volume pots, I think the company went down but wondered is anyone new whether they used generic pots and if so were I might find them to buy, thanks for any helpDHave only last week been refurbishing 2 PSL Amplifiers, one KA 501 and one KA 1201. The original input level pots on both of these Amplifiers are 5k ohms Lin types with detents to provide the -6dB at the center of rotation. I have successfully used Bournes conductive plastic track 5k pots - available from RS, Stock No. 522-5204 - which are higher quality than the originals and can be easily soldered to the small PCB's fitted behind the front panel on these Amplifiers after removal of the old pots. There is probably a lower cost option somewhere, but from experience these pots should out-last the rest of the Amplifier and are sealed so that ingress of 'gunge' is prevented. Have tried in the past to locate suitable 'like for like' replacements for these and other Amplifiers which use similar types but without success. Hope this assistsMik
